I'm Alex Rama

Alex is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with 9 years of Aesthetic Medicine experience. She graduated with a Bachelors of Science and Nursing from the University of South Carolina in 2013. She began working for a plastic surgeon in the Charleston area and fell in love with aesthetic medicine. She developed an impeccable “eye” for proper aesthetics with the help of her mentor, Dr. Tracy Harvey. While working, she went back to nurse practitioner school and obtained a Doctorate in Nursing from the Medical University of South Carolina in 2018. After graduating, she continued to work in the field of plastic surgery where she began injecting and assisting in the operating room. Alex currently works as a nurse practitioner for the Spa West Ashley where she helps patients feel and look their best. Alex enjoys continuing her education in aesthetic medicine by attending conferences, meeting with local injectors to share tips and tricks, watching online continuing medical education videos with a focus on aesthetic medicine, and others. Alex in a Charleston native and enjoys riding horses, spending time with friends and family, hunting, fishing, and boating.
